When we create our menus we do so with a few loose principles in mind, making sure we do justice to the quality of our ingredients while retaining a sense of wholesome, hearty dishes like sausages & mash with onion gravy, pie of the day, and the classic ploughman's lunch. We marry the flavours of our favourite wines and beers with our dishes to make the meal an entire experience - rather than just a plate of food.

The kitchen at the White Horse strives to move forward in the development of our dishes with the same speed, style and purpose as London restaurants and gastropubs such as St John's in Farringdon, or The Anchor & Hope in Waterloo .
